Humana announces major expansion of Florida dental network, benefits
Humana Inc., which operates Florida's largest Medicare Advantage plan in terms of enrollment, declared that it will improve its 2023 dental coverage and vastly expand the dentist network available to its Florida Medicare Advantage customers.
For Floridians who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid in 2023, the health and wellness company's Medicare Advantage plans will offer new benefits, such as additional financial assistance to help with living expenses.
Caraline Coats, president of Humana's South Florida Medicare, stated, "We're delighted to announce a significant investment in our dental coverage and network.
"In our more than 30 years of serving Florida Medicare members, we've learned a lot about what matters to our members, and dental care is a high priority and, of course, crucial to one's general health."
The Florida GoldPlus Dental Network, which includes 8,100 dentists throughout the state and a nationwide network, will be available to Floridians enrolled in a 2023.
Humana HMO or PPO Medicare Advantage plan starting on January 1. This means they can seek in-network care both inside and outside of Florida.
