The virtual asset services provider (VASP) registration in Spain has been granted to the cryptocurrency banking and payments platform BVNK.
By becoming registered with the Bank of Spain, BVNK will be able to provide its services to businesses all over the nation.
BVNK enables companies to offer cryptocurrency services that are not currently provided by other payment and settlement providers.
More than 100 cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), Cardano's ADA, and Solana's SOL, are supported by its business accounts.
VASP registration in Spain was described by BVNK as a "springboard for expansion" throughout the European Union in a statement released on Thursday (EU).
Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation, which is close to becoming law in the EU, will allow crypto firms with licences from individual member states to advertise their services throughout the 27-nation bloc.
