Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., issued a warning to investors on Monday.
stating that he anticipates market volatility to last for the foreseeable future and that the S&P 500 could easily decline by another 20%
as long as the Federal Reserve keeps raising interest rates.
When asked by CNBC where he thought stocks might bottom, Dimon replied he wasn't sure
but it's not hard to picture the S&P 500 dropping another 20% as rates rise and markets get even more volatile and "disorderly."
It truly hinges on the soft-landing, hard-landing issue, and since I don't know the answer, it's difficult for me to respond.
