African countries urge rich nations to honour $100bn climate finance pledge
African ministers and high-ranking officials have asked wealthy nations to do more to address the climate catastrophe

Wael Aboulmagd, Egypt's special representative for Cop27, criticised wealthy countries for breaking their commitment to give developing countries $100 billion (£87.5 billion) annually by 2020.
The funding was promised at Cop15 in Copenhagen to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
